Our Philosophy

Holly Taft brings extensive experience working with children and teens, creating a warm, supportive space where young clients can feel safe, understood, and empowered. She is skilled in play therapy and other developmentally appropriate approaches that help children and adolescents express emotions, process challenges, and build healthy coping skills.

In addition to her work with youth, Holly supports adults navigating depression, anxiety, low self-confidence, and related concerns. Her approach is compassionate and collaborative, helping clients gain insight, strengthen resilience, and develop practical tools for emotional well-being. Holly is committed to meeting each individual where they are and walking alongside them on their path toward healing and personal growth.

Where Healing Branch Can Help

Holly Taft, LCSW

Therapy is based on the belief that you are the expert in your own life and can be empowered to support your mental health. Faith-based counseling may be part of this process. Counseling approaches focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Parts Work Therapy to help you better understand and manage your thoughts and behaviors for self-care. Together, we can work toward your personal goals and help you become the best version of yourself.

Holly Taft is licensed by the State of Idaho as a clinical social worker. She earned her bachelor of Arts in Social Science at Biola University and her Master’s degrees in Social Work from San Diego State University. She has training and experience in a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Therapy.
